Ran today in the 5k at Bremerton. I ran a good race today. I got a PR which made me happy. I broke 20 minutes

The course was OK except that you had to do 3 laps instead of a loop. The Navy recruits from the navy base were there. I would have done better but with the laps the slow people got in the way and the biggest problem was that on last lap i had to pass the group of navy guys and there was about 100 of them. I think I could have gotten 19:50 at least still i were 16th of 179 runners

I also had to race again against high school kids in my age group which I dont think is fair as they are much older and run on their high school team. but I know I will beat them someday. They didnt give much for prizes just ribbons

afterwards my dad and I went to the docks and had a hotdog and blackberry desert and saw a navy destroyer ship

Another awesome race for Falcon! I don't think that is right to have such a big range for the age division! It sounds like you and your dad had a great day!

Great race Falcon! Super effort and always great when you can get a PR.
